Good news!
Ever since Apple announced macOS 15 Sequoia at their Worldwide Developers Conference last month, we’ve been hard at work testing to ensure ClamXAV will work as expected.
Yesterday, 15 July, Apple released the first public beta for macOS 15 Sequoia and we are pleased to announce that our initial findings confirm the current version of ClamXAV appears to work well with it.
During these next few months, the state of macOS 15 will be very fluid with lots of changes coming thick and fast, so we will continue to monitor the situation and test as much as possible so we can maintain the high standards you’ve come to know and love ClamXAV for.
Please keep in mind that this version of macOS is still in beta and things may break unexpectedly, so do proceed with caution.
If you install the beta version of macOS 15 Sequoia, and encounter any issues using ClamXAV, please let our friendly support team know, using our Contact Us page.
Later this summer, when Apple releases the “final” version of macOS 15, we can confirm that ClamXAV will work and be supported on it.
