How to install ClamXAV on your Mac

Step 1

After downloading ClamXAV, find ClamXAV_3.8.1_11003_Installer.pkg in your Downloads Folder and double click it. Then follow the on-screen prompts to perform the installation. When asked for your admin name and password, these are the ones you use to log into your computer.

Step 2

Click the Free Trial button to try ClamXAV free for 30 days – or, if you’ve already bought ClamXAV, click the link in your registration email to enter your registration key automatically.

Step 3

Wait a few moments whilst ClamXAV downloads the latest malware database.

That’s it! You’re ready to go.
